...and so many say that it's for the victims...

The lone survivor of Mark Stroman's attack on convenience store workers in late 2001, Rais Bhuiyan, originally from Bangladesh, unsuccessfully sued to stop the execution, saying his religious beliefs as a Muslim required him to forgive the man. The courts denied his request.

Stroman, 41, had said hate in the world needed to end and asked for God's grace shortly before the fatal drugs began flowing into his arms. He was pronounced dead less than an hour after his final court appeal was rejected.

In an interview, on local tv, Rais Bhuiyan stated that the execution would haunt him more, in many ways, than the original attack.

1. You know what, many of us need to start paying more attention to these cases.
I know that I haven't been, but promise to do better. We really need to get rid of the DP like yesterday. Lets work on this, by contacting State Governors immediately. I am starting tomorrow in my State.

3. The widow supported Davis' execution. She was not fooled.
Her dead husband, forgotten by so many who are sobbing over the man who murdered him tonight, did not get revenge.
It was justice, as the system saw fit.
Change it if you don't like it.
Don't make a hero of the murderers.

4. Who is making a hero of anyone? I see people calling out against
a barbaric act. Don't assume (you know how that makes an ass out of u) that, because a widow is happy and supportive, justice was done. Don't be a fool.
