Meg Whitman to save HP
Edited on Thu Sep-22-11 01:28 PM by denem
No I can't believe what I am reading but here it is:

Meg Whitman will be named to lead the company in the afternoon, following a board meeting in the morning. She joined the HP board earlier this year.

After Carly Fiorina halved the market cap of HP, doubling down on PC hardware, the board is giving Meg the opportunity redouble their efforts, by ousting CEO Leo Apotheker.

Words fail me.

1. She needs to pilfer another company so she can attempt to buy another seat in government.

2. Those Crazy board members.
Too bad HP stock is probably mixed into some big pension portfolios.

3. On the positive side, she'll probably make back a lot
of what she lost last year on her idiotic quest for the governorship. ..... I guess

5. The Article Should Read: "After Carly Fiorina halved the market cap of HP..."
"Meg Whitman is being called in to finish the other half."

6. I am so glad I didn't buy HP stock when my model told me to do so.
Not that I'm doing that much better with what I did buy, but HP sucks and this bodes even worse.

7. This company is a magnet for bad Reaganites.
. . . while she takes over, HP workers start piling up cash, canned goods, etc and ready their LinkedIn/CareerBuilder/Monster profiles.
