I don't get it about Perry.
Ask him a question and it's obvious that he's dumb as a post. Yet according to the polls, the Republicans still love him. I don't get it.

9. The Republican unwashed like people who are not much smarter than them.
They don't much care for "elitists," by which I think they mean anyone who thinks more complex thoughts than they are capable of.

If not dumber.

A lot of Americans like dumb, they relate well to dumb because they are dumb.

21. It's about being born a rich control freak in order to keep the wealth.
That's why there are some good rich people and some bad rich people. Some have smarts and can make money doing things for the world.

Others know they can't do good things, or think they can't, but they know how to bully and keep others from out-performing them and eventually reducing their wealth.

Reagan was not a bright bulb. So, they had an easier sell on passing the hidden agenda behind his back or even right in front of his eyes. When Alzheimer's hit, they could control Nancy by controlling her astrologer.

W was not bright. Cheney had a hard time controlling some of it.

Poppy was bright enough, but still a stooge for some of the worst.

Of course they love Perry.
