PUYALLUP, Wash. -- Steve Powell, father-in-law of missing woman Susan Powell, has been arrested and charged.

Powell, 61, was arrested at his Puyallup home on Thursday night. He has been charged with 14 counts of voyeurism and one count of child pornography.

The charges are based on evidence seized during a recent search of Steve and his son's Puyallup home by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, officials said, but is not related to the disappearance of Susan Powell.

Several computers, digital media, recordings, and photographs seized from Steven and Josh Powell's home contained "thousands of images of females being videotaped without their knowledge, including Susan Powell," said the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. "The photographer focuses on the women's buttocks, breasts, and genital areas. Many images were of minor females." Some of the victims have been identified as children who used to live near Steve.

Susan Powell, a native of Puyallup who later moved to Utah, was 28 when she was reported missing after she failed to show up for her stockbroker job in December 2009.
