Sarah Palin Offered $1 Million To Take Lie Detector Test
Put your money where your mouth is Sarah Palin!

In a newly released book by Joe McGinniss the former Governor of Alaska is accused of cheating on her husband Todd Palin, with his ex-business partner, a charge which she vehemently denies, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the adult website AshleyMadison.com has offered the Palins $1 million to prove their innocence.

"His book is full of disgusting lies, innuendo and smears," Todd Palin said of the book, The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin.

The website has offered Sarah and Todd Palin a "unique platform to prove that these allegations are not true," according to a letter exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com.

2. A pathological liar can always pass a lie detector test
Giving Sarah Palin a lie detector test won't mean a thing.

19. Lie Detector Tests are notoriously unreliable
http://motherjones.com/politics/2002/11/lie-detector-roulette

Studies have long shown that polygraphs are remarkably unreliable, particularly for screening job applicants. As early as 1965, a congressional committee concluded that there was no evidence to support the polygraph's validity; a 1997 survey in the Journal of Applied Psychology put the test's accuracy rate at only 61 percent. Polygraph evidence is generally inadmissible in court because, as Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas noted in his majority opinion in the 1998 case U.S. v. Scheffer, "there is simply no consensus that polygraph evidence is reliable." Indeed, the lie detector is so untrustworthy that Congress passed the Employee Polygraph Protection Act in 1988, making it illegal for private-sector employers to compel workers to take polygraph exams. Prior to the law's passage, according to Senate testimony, an estimated 400,000 workers suffered adverse consequences each year after they were wrongly flunked on polygraphs.

I saw this and thought it was about Glen Rice, but that's no in dispute.

10. Hmmm, how much?
I bet she and Todd had a long discussion about this - "Sarah: Todd, I know I can pass it, and we'll have an extra mil to play around with" - "Todd: What happens if you fail it? Then everyone will be making fun of me" "Sarah: Honey, if I can fool millions of people into believing what I tell them, what makes you think I can't fool a lil' ole' machine?"

12. While this is deeply amusing
What would we make of it if a reich-wing organization were to make a financial offer to Bill Clinton on the things that he's neither admitted nor denied about the Lewinsky affair?

Lie dectectors are only stunts, suitable for circus sideshows.

17. No, he's not
But I guess I could imagine a more contemporary situation involving someone who might have something to hide, and needs a few bucks. It would still be a silly stunt, and I wouldn't expect any person, right or left, to entertain the notion seriously.

but I can imagine that $1 million ain't enough to bring her to a lie detector.
