Welcome to OCCUPY TOGETHER, a hub for all of the events springing up across the country in solidarity with Occupy Wall St. As we have followed the news on facebook, twitter, and the various live feeds across the internet, we felt compelled to build a site that would help spread the word as more protests organize across the country. We hope to provide people with information about events that are organizing, ongoing, and building across the U.S. as we, the 99%, take action against the greed and corruption of the 1%.

1. As someone....

Who is trying to arrange to join Occupy Wall Street next week,
I think having this many locations is a mistake.
The number of people who would up for this may
be huge, but it is limited. It might be wiser to
all converge on 1,2, or even have a dozen locations
than spread out everybody so thin over so many places.
Some of these may be as small as the more pathetic
teabagger rallies. Sticking to NYC and DC might make a bigger
splash on those centers of power.

2. I see your point, these have to be different from the usual

street corner protests to have an impact.

That's the thing with social media, anyone can start a website and what with "anonymous" behind it we don't know who is behind anything!

In fact it could be the anti-occupiers inventing this strategy.

Well it's not easy to foment a movement and I wish everyone the best.

3. You are forgetting something

There is no leader, no headquarter for central strategic planning, and that is not weakness, it's strength. This is movement is growing organically and every new cell is wellcome, each cell is a leader by it's own right. This is the movement of a nation starting to wake up, jointly and independently, toghether with all nations over globe. Each individual is the center of power, fuck the old and tired centers of repression and robbery. We are the 99%. We are the people. We are the power.
