Back when the Demo's had the last convention, two ladies blogged of their experience, when they tried to take pictures in or near where the convention and most of the police action was taking place. That being that their perfectly good cell phone cameras would not work. I could understand this being easy to do as all phones, these days, are constantly pinging cell phone towers to keep their signal, so why not throw in a signal to turn off the camera. Chime in if you have heard or experienced any problems.

1. Reminds me of something from when I was a kid

We used to vacation on a sailboat. On year (probably late 1979 or 80ish) we sailed up the Thames River past the sub base in Groton, CT. We took a bunch of photographs along the way, but all the pictures we took as we passed the sub base were so blurry as to be unrecognizable.
