HuffPo: Chris Christie Ain't Running
Edited on Tue Sep-27-11 01:02 PM by Hoosier Daddy
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will not run for the GOP presidential nomination in the next election cycle, Fox News reported on Tuesday.

Looks like the Great Weight Debate here has become academic.

3. It only makes good sense.
He has no name recognition, no national organization, no grass roots organization and he is crude and nasty but not necessarily a tea partier. He would be running against guys that have been running for a long time. It is hard to jump in with a matter of months left before the primaries. If his wife doesn't want him running then he isn't running, I believe him.

7. Whoever jumped in at this point would be the frontrunner though. Thats been the established pattern.

First it was Cain making waves then Bachmann then Perry. Now the GOP Circular Firing squad (TM) are turning their guns on Perry.

If someone could enter the race at this point with a lot of corporate money behind them they could easily knock off Perry and get the top spot.

And the cocksuc- I mean Koch Brothers - have tried tapping Christie already. He was on his way to meet with them when he took the chopper ride from his son's football game.

11. Run, Sarah, run!
Is it wrong that I get excited over the prospect of watching her and Perry destroy each other? I mean they've probably got 110 IQ points between them... it would kind of be like watching two brain damaged drunks get into a knife fight.

12. The fat jokes aren't helpful. They feed directly into the right-wing meme...
that liberals are snobby elitists who look down upon most of their countrymen.

13. I'm pretty fucking sick of playing by their rules, but only when it suits THEM.
Seen or heard the "Michelle Obama is fat" bullshit (spewed by none other than that svelte paragon of manhood, Rush Limbaugh)? And her husband? Well ... he's either a socialist or a Nazi, depending on which wingnut you are being exposed to. Fuck it! Christie is a fat piece of Republican shit, and I'm not about to stop pointing that out.
