OMG I love this guy on MSNBC. Asomugha of the Philadelphia Eagles.
He travels with high achieving kids in at risk areas on trips to see colleges around the country so they can dream bigger. Many of them have never been on a plane before.

Such a sweet guy and cute and funny too.

1. An all around nice guy

Here's his wiki page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nnamdi_Asomugha

I'd like to add:
Seems to me like most professional athletes are good people. People with kind words for their fellow humans and a warm spot in their hearts for those who are down.

I like sports. I think it builds character and helps young people learn the importance of teamwork. I think my son is better for having played sports in school.
I was a poor kid who never got the chance to play sports in school even though I'm still quick as a cat and I'm 63 yo. Hell, I can just imagine what I could have done with a basketball if I would have been given the chance to learn and play the game when I was a kid. In our town poor kids didn't get the chance to play anything and thats the way it was in the 50's

4. These aren't privileged kids you know.
I guess you have to be poor and uneducated to get your seal of approval.

3. Neat concept.
Glad the guy is helping! Why don't we hear more about this guy and less about Michael Vick! (Rhetorical question, of course).
