October is Domestic Violence Month

3. Domestic violence does seem to get a brush off....

I see time after the the perpetrator of domestic violence getting a slap on the hand. This is so inexcusable. And when the victim is killed we are talking a 5 year sentence, when if you kill anyone who is not your spouse (whom I guess it is okay to kill) you would get 20 to life.
