Just had to re-post this from the Vietnam era. Don't remember who penned it. The Berkley Barb? An underground radio station? I just don't remember but it holds true today.

....it was first said by Tom Paine, yeah, that Thomas Paine, listening to a bunch of colonials in Boston in the late 1700s, bitching about King George and the British:

If you can't stand them why don't you go out and start your own country.....

I repeat, that was in the late 1700s. They did just that.
