CW: I’ve seen the wealth of this country – and especially California – go from the middle class to the very rich. It’s destroying California, it’s destroying our schools. The Republicans are doing their best to privatize everything they can and it’s destroying the country.

QK: What do you want these protests to accomplish?

CW: A state bank. North Dakota has a state bank that isn’t doing it for profit.

QK: What do you have against Wall Street?

CW: They broke laws, they made a mockery of process of granting loans to enrich themselves in the short term and they didn’t give a damn about the long term.

because they've screwed me out of $4.00. Apparently, they thought I wouldn't notice! That sort of money adds up when they do it to all of us.

I actually got a notice in the mail explaining how there has been a lawsuit placed against my old bank (B of A) regarding overcharged overdraft fees. Evidently if the people who filed the lawsuit win, anyone who was overcharged these fees (which i was) would automatically receive restitution. Those bastards got way too much of my money but I didn't have enough at the time to fight them and of course they dismissed me. I ALMOST wish that Warren Buffet had not helped them out.

we're talking about missing funds. All I need is four little pieces of paper to prove my case and I have them. I lost $.72 in less than 12 hours. I chose an option that would not allow my account to go below a zero balance.

11. I was a Patelco customer...

They are no better. I sent them a check to cover an XMRadio charge to my account that I did not authorize. That charge sent my account into overdraft. They never cashed the check, never responded to my letter, and never credited my account. I sent my letter certified mail, return receipt request. I have proof that it was received.

Fuck them too!

and got the sense that it's a very disparate group and some of them were quite conservative and many were uninformed. However, this is the flip side of the teabaggers: these people know they've been screwed without getting kissed and they are smart enough to figure out who did it. That's the one thing that unites them. Plus, this is real grass roots, not Koch brothers Astroturf.
