A Tax Subsidy the Repukes Hate
Taxpayers are currently giving billions upon billions of dollars in subsidies to corporations and businesses, all because we’ve been told that “if we give breaks to corporations, they will shower us with jobs, and grow the economy”. We give these breaks and subsidies, and we get cheering from the Repukes and, with the exception of the Wall St protesters, they are just accepted by the American people. It’s as if we’ve been conditioned to accept these tax-breaks and subsidies as “the cost of doing business”.

But, give Welfare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, Unemployment Benefits, Social Security or Pell Grants to the poor, homeless, unemployed in a down economy, elderly folks (who paid years of Social Security taxes), or a needy High School Senior…and the screams and howls from the “Tea-baggers” is deafening.

It’s always the same old crap; “they’re taking my tax dollars and giving it to someone else!”
But in reality, what is Unemployment, Food Stamps or other benefits of our Social Safety net but a “subsidy”? That unemployed American spends his money at the local grocery store or retail shop, thereby “creating” jobs for the folks employed there. That elderly person spends their Social Security check on home repairs, transportation, food and clothing…”creating” jobs for Americans in those sectors. That poor family spends Food Stamps and Welfare at the grocery store, for rent, for utilities, and for transportation and services…”creating” jobs for Americans in those sectors.

I guess a simple question for the Repukes would be; “Why are tax-breaks and subsidies only good for the wealthiest”? "Why is it OK to give my tax dollars to a billionaire, but blasphemy to give them to the most needy Americans"?

In fact, I bet if you did a comprehensive study, you’d find that more jobs are created by the Social Safety Net, than are created by any tax-break to a corporation.

Why do Repukes hate the “job-creators”???

1. That's their insane thinking process at work
Nobody who NEEDS help should get it but the millionaires and billionaires should get everything they can, because well, they really DON'T need it!

It's pure insanity when average americans vote for these morons who take from the poor and give to the rich! How can anyone in their right mind not see what is going on? How can they not figure out that sooner or later they too will get hit by these insane idea, and they lose everything they now have? Are the right wing hate spewers that good at what they do, or are a number of americans to damned gullible they buy into the right wing crap without thinking?

Good post by the way.

2. It's the fear of socialism
Tea Partiers rather prefer corporate socialism than socialism towards regular people. It's just McCarthyism in another form.

4. Isn't
Corporate Socialism just another name for fascism?

Hell, the only thing that is keeping our economy afloat right now is the Social Safety Net.

If Tea-baggers are so concerned about "socialism", why don't they tear up their Social Security Checks when they get them?

The hypocrisy of these building is stunning.
