Mike Stark just PWNed Limbaugh again!
What luck I have. It seems like every time I tune in to Rush Limbaugh's radio show lately, I get to hear master right wing radio troll Mike Stark work his magic. Today he asked Rush to ask Republicans to get behind the America Jobs Act because it contains so many tax cuts for working Americans and job-creating businesses.

Because he is still so unused to being challenged, Rush was clearly flummoxed. He responded by make the outrageously false claim that the act contains only tax increases, while also arguing that liberals are hypocrites for trying to defund Social Security with payroll tax reductions(even though those reductions will be paid for out of the general tax fund).

In short, Rush was making no sense, as anyone who bothers to find out what is actually in the bill will see. Besting these powerful right-wingers is not as hard as it may seem. You may want to practice on your local wingnuts first, just to get the hang of it. I've tried it before and all it takes is some preparation. Write down what you want to say in case you get nervous. Since I am off work now for a few weeks due to an injury, I intend to give them hell.

3. Good for Mike Stark, he is great and we should have more
reporters doing what he does. But they are afraid of Rush.

It's sad though, to have to agree with Rush Limbaugh on the holiday tax and he is correct, which is doubly sad to have to say, that any democrat who supports it is a hypocrite. They are. If Bush had done this we WOULD have been accusing of trying to defund SS and change the way it is funded in the future, making it a Fed. Govt program instead of what it has always been, funded by the people NOT the Fed Govt. I think this is what bothers me the most, the way were are placed in the position of not being able to defend ourselves from the likes of Limbaugh because of the actions of our own party.

4. Stark just blogged about this call at DKOS. It was actually made by one of his trainees.
Mike Stark has written a diary at Daily KOS explaining this call. He does not have a clip of the call itself posted yet. That is apparently still to come.

The caller was Jim McBride from Network for Progress. I provided him with talk radio training several weeks ago, and he's been burning up the lines ever since. Yesterday, he finally got through the busy signals and reached Rush.

One thing you should have no doubt whatsoever about is that Jim was correct: there are absolutely zero tax increases in the American Jobs Act. (I'll explain more fully in the sister post that reviews the main substance of the call).

Anyway, Rush was also correct about the other "seminar callers". Earlier in the week, Carl Gibson of USUncut reached Rush - and... funny enough... he reached Rush right after he hung up on me. The two of us (I trained Carl as well) essentially took over the second hour of Rush's show.
