Entitled Republican children
Get this I set up my next door neighbor's nephew for a job interview. The job was with my best friend and he landed the job. It is a very nice job with a great professional future.

I did not get a thank you. I wish I knew a nice liberal kid I could have given this opportunity.

1. then he'll go around saying how he did it all on his own with no help from anyone
and all the bs that goes along with that. Some people are just rude that way. I don't know that it's a republican thing. Seems to be a lot of people and kids have that problem. I try to make sure my kids aren't like that. I know how I was raised.... and I am confident I can achieve similar respect without all the spanking and crap that I went through.

2. kids are spacey, stupid, selfish, and don't know the customs.
ask the parent if he got the job. remark "oh, great - i hadn't heard from him yet". maybe they'll prompt him to be an adult.

4. If he's well qualified, and does a good job ...
... you were helping out your friend in finding this kid. Perhaps in time, he will wise up. It seems he just wasn't brought up to be polite.

5. Send him a You're Welcome card. If he has half a brain, he'll get the point. nt
