Must Read Sarah Palin Body Language
http://drlillianglassbodylanguageblog.wordpress.com/

Unlike body language experts who have a political bias, I do not. Instead, I always try to maintain my objectivity . Thus, I have no agenda when it comes to Sara Palin. I am merely reporting what I observed on her latest video message that she posted on Facebook. W hat I observed was very disturbing as there were too many moments where I believe she continued to exercise poor judgment.

BAD ACTRESS

Watching Sara Palin’s recent speech on video was like watching a very bad actress perform. Her words and her body language were out of synch and completely disconnected in so many instances.

Her monotone and incongruent body language .where she shook her head NO when she should have been shaking it YES and vice versa was also disturbing. It seemed very insincere and contrived.

Absent was any apology for her use of violent imagery. Using inappropriate terms such as blood liable were as disturbing as her imagery of our founding fathers whom she described as using dueling pistols to settle their differences.

In light of the circumstancesm this inappropriate talk once again reflected very poor judgment on Sara Palin’s part in my view.

1. Speaking as someone who has a server hearing loss
I read a person body language without even thinking about it. I've always felt she was 'preforming' her beauty pagent act with out the bathing suit. Just my 2 cents.

9. Yep. I coached some pageant gals on interviewing and she's been playing that pageant persona
probably forever. Why? It works.

3. Dr Lillian don't write so good.
More like a bright eighth grader. And despite her disclaimer, her 'analysis' is nowhere near objective.

5. As a special Ed grad student I was trained for body language
Most of the time I first turn the sound off when watching pundits and politians.
Then I watch it with the sound on to see what it reveals..

Nominated thread it was right on

8. People shake their head "No" when they are lying to you.
From the link:

"When she said in her speech “I agree with the sentiments shared yesterday at the beautiful Catholic mass held in honor of the victims, she disturbingly shook her head NO when she needed to shake it in the affirmative.

Body language wise she was saying I don’t agree with the beautiful Catholic mass. When people’s body language does not match their words they are usually thinking about their own agenda and what they want to say next, instead of being in the moment and being genuine about what they are saying.

She continues to shake her head NO as she says The mass will hopefully help begin a healing process for the families touched by this tragedy and for our country.

It is clear through her body language that she does not believe what she is saying here . Her words about Catholic mass does not ring true to her based on her body actions."

I have observed this same pattern in television advertising. There's a huge "family" real estate company in my area. The patriarch of said company, a multi-millionaire, always welcomed viewers to the company's weekly infomercial by stating how much he & his "family company" cared about their customers and you could trust them, blah, blah, blah. He had a fake smile plastered on his face the whole time, and his head was perpetually shaking "No" throughout his speech. He was a veritable bobble head, only shaking his head sideways, instead of up and down. Meanwhile, I have observed said company ripping off customers, particularly elderly ones, by getting them to vastly underprice their homes, which then sell within hours of being listed, even in our depressed housing market. Happened to an elderly couple down the street from me, and the buyer was another employee of the real estate company.

11. The show 'Lie to me'
Edited on Sat Jan-15-11 09:50 AM by felix_numinous
is also very interesting for reading body language, sometimes they interject photos of politicians and celebrities to illustrate their points. The pursed lips means editing information if I remember correctly, Sarah does that one all the time.

oops meant as a general reply

18. I've heard that when someone is lying they look
to the left - searching to manufacture. When telling the truth the eyes move to the right - trying to remember.

Thoughts, anyone?

10. I was disturb when she shook her head no here
She continues to shake her head NO as she says The mass will hopefully help begin a healing process for the families touched by this tragedy and for our country.

It says to that she really doesn't give a damn about the victims healing because she is a sociopath who only masks human emotion and as Dr. Glass pointed out she is even bad at that.

12. Did she actually say "blood liable", or "blood lible"?
I've seen the phrases used equally in the reporting on this. Very different meanings.

That is what I found most distracting. I wonder what Dr. Lillian would say about that.

20. A bad actress channeling an average actor
That was my take. I saw Sarah channeling Reagan; her body language screamed Ronald Reagan.
