From my photography/political rant blog:

A good day, the weather sure helps. I was half-worried about police in riot gear and/or taking a provocative stance. Nope.
If anything, I got the impression they thought these orders were a joke and an easy day's O.T. pay.
The lack of electricity on the Hennepin County Government Center plaza was a hindrance (The county routinely cuts power at night and on weekends, nothing sinister here). When announcements had to be made, a leader would stand up high, shout instructions, and a half dozen or so volunteers would repeat them, loudly, to the crowd.
You had the expected number of what tight-assed conservatives would consider 'ultra-lefties' types there but there were plenty of folks who would have passed their muster.
Instead of dicks like Eric Cantor and Peter King trying to scare Americans about these people, how about reading up on what exactly it is they want?
While there is no one set of demands, the big difference is that the Teabaggers turned their anger and rage against Obama and the government in the name of "freedom", not much on the banksters who perpetrated the mess we are in.
At OccupyMN, there was no doubt who was the subject of ire.
