Activists have been serious threats for a long time now, but people with guns who want to aim them at certain other people aren't and have ever been.

People with guns can't be touched because the 2nd amendment is special and extra-protected. But nonviolent activists and peace activists aren't protected, so apparently they can be dangerous.
