On October 26th 2002, a week before I was married to my now wife and mother of my child, I boarded a train on a foggy morning and went to DC.
This was the day after Paul Wellstone had died in an airplane crash.
Myself and several DU'ers marched against the war. We were right. It was a disasterous idea and it was horrifically managed. The worst thing my country has done in my lifetime.
This is a depiction of that time in pictures.

HENRY: You know, going back to September 2001, the president said, dead or alive, we're going to get him. Still don't have him. I know you are saying there's successes on the war on terror, and there have been. That's a failure.

TOWNSEND: Well, I'm not sure -- it's a success that hasn't occurred yet. I don't know that I view that as a failure.
