A good number to add would be the number of lies told to help sell the invasion.
I'm partway through Hubris, by Michael Isikoff and Davoid Corn, which addresses the whole run-up to the war. I thought I knew a lot about the BS that went down. The reality was an order of magnitude worse than I realized.

3. History will dispassionately record the Iraqi experience as one of the worst
blunders modern man has blundered into imo: the cost-benefit ratio enormous, the carnage and destruction inflicted incalculable, the enormity of the crime also imo incalculable. Supposedly civilized man's inhumanity to man: off the incivility chart imo. :patriot:
