Poll question: Employed or not

There have been a few polls about the demographic of DUers. We are mostly between the ages of 30 and 65. We are self-identified lefties. We are evenly divided on the death penalty and guns.

What is the DU employment profile?

Not as an American but as a DUer. I selected categories that I judged would cover the spectrum of employment situations. Please feel free to further differentiate.

Both my pay and my contract days have been repeatedly cut; I'm making significantly less money than before the crash.

technically part time but work full time hours, with benefits. However, hubby just got laid off.

8. Is disability a pension

I'm 63 with circulation problems in my legs and hands to where I can piddle around but not actually work so I'm on disability so does that count?

unemployment benefits run out one month from now.

I did just register a sole proprietorship, though. Working against the clock to get things up and running in time, looking to work as a freelancer. I'm at about 85% of where I need to be to make that work.

If you ask me in a month's time I'll hopefully vote "self employed" :).

11. I'd vote, but my choice isn't there:

Hourly wage: temporary employee (age = 50)

Been "temporary" for over a year. The job was only supposed to last five months. I'm still not a direct-hire permanent employee even after 13 months on the job, but I'm not giving it up until someone offers me a better position that is permanent (after 6 months.)

I was laid off in 2010 and since I was already collecting Social Security and had some money saved, I decided to retire.
