New study finds that cigarette smoke damages human DNA within minutes after it is inhaled.

3. Step outside and breathe.....
...you've just damaged your DNA! Smoking is bad for you, no doubt, but coming out with yet another reason not to smoke is not solving anything. Why are cigarettes allowed to be sold at all? Why isn't there complete opposition to the tobacco industry as a whole? M-o-n-e-y! Alcohol is just as bad. People who drink alcohol and curse smoking are hypocritical. They like their vice, but not someone else's. They both kill. Smoking is death by a thousand butts. Alcohol is death by a thousand shots or beers.

We like our vices and hate everyone elses. What's new? Same ole shit, different day!

4. Study: Most studies blame smoking for EVERY FUCKING THING
:eyes:

Never mind pollution, high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, lack of exercise, lack of sleep, lack of access to health care, lack of personal time, obesity, exposure to corporate excess, etc., just blame smoking as the cause of everything that ails us.

5. Moonie UPI. Not my most trusted source for science news.
Or news of any sort.

But carry on if it pleases you.

6. Standing in strong sunlight damages DNA
If smoking really did all that that fast, there'd be a lot more birth defects around.
