Changing banks. I just opened a BECU account

Friday is payday and I will deposit a huge chunk of money in my BECU account, start direct deposit there and close my BoA account!

3. Very friendly person! I stopped by after grocery shopping

intending to get account information and the staff had me signed up with a temp atm card within 30 minutes. I am also checking into paying off the Boa Visa with a lower interest BECU card. I am excited and can't wait to give BoA the boot.

4. I gave BofA the boot ... years ago ....

once when I went to Security Pacific ...BofA bought them out ... then with another bank I can't remember at the moment ... but BofA bought them out too ... arrrrgggg .... WTF? Nov 5th ... or sometime before that, this week, I will try again. ;)

5. BECU rocks!

I opened my account with them as soon as I became eligible (back when you had to be either a Boeing Employee, or related to one). A couple of years ago my wife and I were in one of their TV commercials, and our pictures still show up on posters and the video loops they play at their locations.

I think you're going to like it. Everything we've ever had to do with them has been a pleasant experience.

Just because an organization is a credit union doesn't mean it is safe.
