Judge scolds Rep. Joe Walsh in child-support case with ex-wife
A Chicago judge issued a preliminary ruling Wednesday against U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) in his child-support dispute with his ex-wife, ordering the Tea Party favorite to explain why he appears to be $100,000 behind in child-support payments.

Cook County Circuit Judge Raul Vega also wanted to know why Walsh wasn’t in court Wednesday — the McHenry Republican’s ex-wife, Laura Walsh, was there — and initially said he expected him to show up for the next hearing.

In court, Walsh’s attorney, Janet Boyle, asked Vega “for what purpose” he wanted the congressman in court.

Vega gave her a puzzled look — to which Boyle responded: “Mr. Walsh is a U.S. congressman.”

“Well, he’s no different than anyone else,” the judge replied.

3. This might be old but the Judge's quote is always worth a replay.
Nice to hear somebody remind this clown that he is, after all, nobody special.

Reminding most of you that Republicans are douche bags is a daily chore, it never used to be that way around here.

7. Used to be you didn't have to remind anyone.
Now we have self-appointed members of the committee for public virtue who quibble about everything that doesn't follow their standards.

8. Ok, dear, this material is misdated. It says 'Wednesday'
which dates the story as yesterday. That is false. Very simple to state the correct date, and foisting the wrong information does not make a point about the Republicans, but about the poster. No need to reach back and falsify dating on stories to make the GOP seem criminal and stupid. Fresh material in that vein is produced daily, and has been for my entire lifetime.
This OP claims to come from yesterday, and it does not. I expected this to be a follow up to the old story, not to BE the old story. It is rude to fake up a story to gain attention for one's snarky commentary against DUers. That OP does not need to remind anyone of anything using such tactics, if it thinks it needs to, it is delusional.
Lying does not fit my standards and has no place in Democratic discussion.

11. Of what relevance is the wife's salary in court ordered child support?
Congressman Walsh should be ashamed of himself. He should be paying to support his children, regardless of what his wife's salary is. If it were alimony her salary would be relevant. But not for child support. If he thought the amount of child support was unfair, he should have gone back to court and petitioned for an adjustment.
