I took all of these pictures and videos yesterday during the protests. I am exhausted, very sore but amazed at what we were able to accomplish. As I have told others, there was violence against property but that was nothing compared to the violence that the banks and corporations inflict upon us every day. Most of the protestors tried to stop the few who were destructive.
I was proud that my daughter finally joined me. She was tentative about the whole thing but after she went down there she "got it". Now she wants to participate more by going to the GAs with me and looking into committees. :)

I will say that the second link I posted is of one of my personal favorite moments of the day - shutting down B of A. The atmosphere was incredible. The third link was of one of the truckers who we blocked on the Port. He decided to turn his truck around and talk to the protestors (who shook his hand afterwards).
