I remember the teachers in Baton Rouge being on strike and us little kids were there on the picket lines

Many a youthful liberal has morphed into an elderly conservative. Not everybody of course, but it does happen quite a lot. I could cite numerous examples from my own family.

Start messing with benefits that senior citizens enjoy and you'll see some hopping mad old folks.
Actually I think this will be the crucible for the reform of drug laws. Once you start gnawing at the benefits of tens of millions of people who vote, you're going to see some new ideas about how to make and save money.
