and she's fighting back by humiliating him with the video.

It's very dysfunctional, this family, and likely has been from the start. Not the child's fault, even if she is an adult now--that is how she was raised. There's no excuse for his conduct, though. He's the parent, and he was the adult when he was whacking her with that belt like some kind of Texan Simon Legree.

I've been driving since I was 16 without problems. I'm 50 now and still drive every day. You might want to buy a clue...It's thinking like this that make discrimination against persons with disabilities perfectly okay, regardless of the ADA and other laws. I don't see this discrimination going away in my lifetime...the assumption that if one has a disability you can't fully participate in society.

eta: Some forms of CP are not as outwardly apparent as others, as in my case and this girls. Hell, a neighbor kid got awarded a full baseball scholarship to college and he has CP.

he beat her for that. You can hear him ranting in the horrible video screaming about her using the computer. So then he took away the car/money. Because of her disability, she was interested in computers and technology.
No excuse for this perp/judge/abuser. He should never be around children let alone make decisions on child abuse cases.

3. The judge said Thursday that his daughter posted a YouTube video of him beating her years ago because he told her he was reducing her financial support and taking away her Mercedes. Is she dependent on the judge for survival? Did he choose to buy a car that was a Mercedes or did she make him turn down a Chevy?

4. It was years ago when he beat her. Has the statute of limitations run on that crime?

5. The response didn't match her infraction/transgression. It was extreme and cruel. If the daughter had timely complained to authorities at the time it happened, she would have been removed by another family court judge and placed in foster care.
