And I believe Harry used the term "hijacked" with reference to Rush Limbaugh's destruction of the Republican party. Semantics. "Hijacked" is definitely the right word. David E. Kelly has another hit on his hands.

1. It was a righteous rant... quite logical too.

It looks as though it may be a very popular show. Might even change a few minds politically. The character's views on crime and punishment are about as liberal as you can get.

It's a must-see as well, for her rant on why drugs should be legalized and taxed, with rehab substituted for prison time. I think the numbers she quoted were right on as well: $0.10 on the dollar for rehab vs. prison.

I am always ;late for good shows. They are so rare I don't bother looking. And then I have to play catch-up, like with Deadwood, Mad Men and Firefly.

11. No, she's an actress...

...who's paid to recite the scripts she's given. She MAY be a Democrat, but there's no information from her TV show to indicate that.

A better guess might be that David E. Kelly, the Executive Director, is a Democrat, but even that is uninformed speculation.
