Just got an odd voicemail.
Edited on Fri Nov-04-11 02:24 PM by Robb
Claiming to be from "Justice for All":

"This is a message from Justice for All, and 99% of America. We just stopped the bank ATM fee hikes. Now the Bank of America wants a secret $55 trillion bailout using taxpayer money to pay for their toxic assets.

"You heard right, $55 trillion for the bank, with 25 million people looking for work and our homes being foreclosed. We need to break up the bank monopolies. Call the President and Congress. Tell them to stop the backdoor bailout of Bank of America.

"Support the Occupy Wall Street movement and Justice for All."

..."Justice for All"?

11. I tried to like it
I really did. I WANTED to like it. I really did.

But it just didn't give me that feeling of awe and wonder that I got the first time I heard Creeping Death or Battery or Whiplash.

Conversely, I do get the same sense of awe and wonder from the latest Napalm Death (Time Waits For No Slave) that I did from Scum. And I anxiously await Utilitarian.

3. "We stopped the bank fees"?
Hey I'm all for getting the message out about the Merrill Lynch/BOA scam in the works but taking credit for what OWS is doing? Not cool at all.

4. B A
Just transferred several billion in toxic assets from one non insured branch to their regular banks therefore moving them under the FDIC and putting the taxpayers in line to inure them if they go bad.

More than ten times the GDP of every nation in the world. They have a lit fuse in their hands, and they are looking to drop it anywhere they can before it blows up.

Apparently someone posted on kos a few days ago about starting this group... and there's apparently a facebook group as well.

If his group is making robo calls it's apparently well-funded.

Seems suspicious that he'd branch off and try to start his own thing.

Just checked, and there was no response at all to his clarion call on kos, and hardly any on his facebook page. I wonder who's paying for those calls. Or if they're even related.
:wtf:

6. I'm hardcore for OWS
But I hate telemarketers. If they are using that approach, which I think they aren't, it's a failure.

12. More of the "shut up you are privileged even though we took your 401K"
type bullshit that has flourished today. It's their new meme. "somebody else has it worse than you, so STFU fool, you have no right to disagree".

9. This might help tell you who it isn't:
http://www.jfa.net/

Justice For All is NOT sponsoring phone calls regarding the Occupy movement. There is another group using this name.

Justice For All shall act as an advocate for change in a criminal justice system that is inadequate in protecting the lives and property of law-abiding citizens.

Through private citizen and corporate membership, Justice For All will peacefully exert the social and legislative influence necessary to effect positive change in the criminal justice system. An informed, dedicated and politically active membership will be the greatest asset in achieving that objective.

Justice For All is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization founded in July 1993.

15. No
Some of the same, "You are lucky to have a job, look at the people in foreign countries that don't have one, even though we robbed your 401K type bullshit."

They really do like to attack at all levels, don't they? Pit everyone against each other like we don't realize they are the ones that caused the FUCKING DISASTER in the first place?

14. The BS runs so deep anymore, so much obfuscation, it gets hard to
tell what is fact or fiction. And the layered propaganda.
