will show up in riot gear for peaceful OWS protests, why don't they show up for "peaceful" teabagger protests? One could say that the teabagger protests suggest more of a potential for violence just by reading the comments on their signage and the carrying of firearms, mean while, the OWS protesters are peacefully assembling, have no firearms and are holding non threatening signage, yet they are surrounded by riot police? Why the difference in treatment of those who are freely assembling?

and "intimidate" if you want to call it that. OWS holds no weapons, is not hostile, and does not promote nor support hostility and violence. The police presence at OWS events is apalling; 1%'s saying look how much it's costing us and yet there is a complete lack of need for the excessive spending of the tax payers dollars. The events would be much less violent if the "cops" didn't show up in such force prepared for war.
