I got lucky this time and had my power restored in about 9 hours. Last time (Irene), I was out for a little over 6 days. But i know some without power, and it's irritates to the core. Fuck CL&P and their greedy Management. We pay the highest fucking electric rate in the CONUS and yet we have this shitty response?

driving south from Vermont... saw a caravan of approx 10 lineman's trucks headed through Connecticut... jobs for them but though haul for residents
