Why? Why? Why...?
Edited on Mon Nov-07-11 11:40 AM by RC
When you post some profound idea, response, what ever, you almost always find some dumb error, misspelled word, wrong word, or extra word(s) you missed when increasing the intelligence of your verbiage by rewording your sentences.

You can let it sit for a while. Have someone else proof read it. Run it through Notepad, LibreOffice, or other word manipulator of choice.
Even click on the Preview button.
Doesn't matter.
As soon as you hit the Post message button, you will see another dumb error in your message as it disappears, only to be exposed the the world.
Then you can either ignore it or click the Edit button. Do you fix it (again) or let it go?

1. I fix it, but only because I'm a grammar and spelling freak.
I probably wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I knew a mistake was there but just let it go.

Thanks Mom! :banghead:

2. I seem to see my errors after I post and then hit review ... then I go back and
fix them ... if any.

3. Worse yet... You find the error about 30 seconds after the Edit capability has expired.

8. The first step is recognizing your error and admitting it.
2nd is be comforted that your are human and humans make errors.

3rd don't sweat it. If your message was a good and thoughtful one, it won't matter too much!!

9. I always fix spelling and grammar mistakes before I post
(and after if I've missed something).

If I post a new thread, I triple-check the title.
