He asked for my help in gathering information on HR 2309, the attack on the Postal Service and retirement system, and the onerous pre-funding mandate. He wants to call his representatives and complain. He voted Tea Party in 2010. It seems people are ok with attacking people's way of living on a false premise it will help America or the economy until it hits home. He is a retired postal employee and post master of different postal service branches. He is also supportive of the OWS movement.
We can win as long as we the people standfast.

unfortunately, for too long, the Republicans have been able to convince people that it was affirmative action and immigration that were causing a diminishing standard of living.

2. Yep. It's too bad it takes that. In many cases, it's too late. |

He has a 5 year old understanding of government, so it's slow. He's catholic (birth control is ok but not abortion...go figure) and he's catching on that the GOP just rips him off and lies about it. It's slow, because he's believed for years that people like me are all drug-addicted-welfare-baby killers. So he's having to listen to me and he has nothing to back up his biases.
He'll get there. Easy does it.
