Time to smile (PIX)

ERIC ALBRECHT / COLUMBUS DISPATCH / AP
Republican Ohio Gov. John Kasich wipes his brow at the Ohio Statehouse on Tuesday night, Nov. 8, 2011, in
Columbus, Ohio, after the state's new collective bargaining law was defeated.

********************

More people voted to kill SB 5 in this year's off year election than voted for him in his 2010 run for governor.

Kasich 2010 1,900,000 votes (rounded up) Ohio's Sec. of State's Web Site
Vote no on 2 votes (kill SB 5) 2,115,000 (rounded down) Columbus Dispatch

Bottom line if we get out the vote we win and that is why the republicans need voter suppression and dirty voting machines.

1. If that's a photo of him reacting to this defeat I'm delighted

He looks so fucking scared. I wonder if it's fear of he people or fear of losing the Koch brothers' 'esteem'. I imagine once you become less that useful to them they just treat you like roadkill.

Karmic adjustments can be so darned uncomfortable.

2. John has made his bones w/the Kochs many times over
Matter of fact he helped to found A.L.E.C. (American Legislative Exchange Council) which is where all those republican
governors have been getting "their plays" from.

6. No matter what the Kochs will love Kasich

Kasich helped to found A.L.E.C. which has been very handy for the Kochs in getting their word and works out.

3. There was a recall of a republican state rep in Michigan
51st District republican state rep Paul Scott was recalled. This district is HEAVILY republican and the vote was close, but blessedly successful.

7. They will not stop!
Right now they are planning a way to get this passed by the piece! People on my Face book page are telling they will do this another way. These are Repukers who still don't get it. By telling lies they have the private sector hating the unions.

8. Some republican state reps are from very safe districts

"More proof the Republicans knew they would lose: they have already started working on a back-up plan. House Speaker William G. Batchelder
told reporters last week to expect pieces of the 300-page law to re-emerge early next year as standalone bills."
