have cracked the case?
1) It is NOT the "same police, investigators and prosecuters" who investigated the 98 Sandusky incident. First, GRICAR investigated it. I know in the breathlessness of this situation people lose a bit of common sense, but it is hard for the man who is missing to investigate himself. The police who "investigated" the 98 incident are the State College Borough police, they had ZERO involvement in the Gricar disappearance. The Gricar case has been investigated by local police, state police, the FBI ...
2) Ray Gricar had a brother who disappeared, and was found having committed suicide almost 9 years to the day Ray disappeared. His brother was bi-polar, and there were a lot of reports that Ray, who was a loner to begin with, had been depressed in the runnup to his disappearance.
3) He was a DA. He prosecuted, and investigated ... MURDERERSS. DRUG DEALERS. All sorts of seriously bad criminals.
For people who knew who Ray Gricar was, the running theories range from his having killed himself, to him having walked off, to some people who he either had put away or was investigating had done him in - the main focus there being a large drug ring and organized crime/political connections in the county he disappeared in.
Make no mistake, PSU GRIEVOUSLY enabled a serial pedophile, with A LOT of information that they should have know and dealt with him properly. Make no mistake, there is very likely be some more REALLY bad information that comes to light from "his charity." But, outside of Sandusky, these people are guilty for the most part of DOING NOTHING.
People are trying to connect two dots here that are MILES apart. Beyond his killing himself or walking off, the list of candidates who might have done in Gricar might be at 200 - people who have clear records of killing people or using physical violence in the course of organized crime.
Gricar did NOT prosecute Sandusky, and the incident had occurred 7 years earlier.
