1. Didn't you get the memo?
War is good no matter the cost. Debt is bad only as it pertains to social programs that benefit the vast majority of Americans. Spend on war and dominance. Cut back on taking care of the infrastructure and developing for future generations. They don't matter.

5. No, it makes no sense, because taxes fund the war.
And if the whole population is impoverished except for an untaxable elite, than the military is unfunded.

This status quo will not last, and I don't mean decades, I mean it won't even last years.
