Occupy Denver: Large police presence moves in on three tents with pepper spray and arrests
...By now, both occupiers and police know the drill. This afternoon, Civic Center Park achieved a new high in police numbers with the most significant riot gear presence to date during another clash over tents. As the afternoon progressed and arrests were made, the numbers spoke volumes about the city's perspective on handling the occupation: About 100 protesters and 200 police officers clashed over the existence of three tents.

The tents themselves were removed within five minutes after police moved in on the area around 5:15 p.m. Officers gathered in the corner of Lincoln Park starting at 3 p.m., when they also began to block off sections of both Lincoln and Broadway in preparation for an altercation with protesters. Both streets remain closed off from Colfax to 13th.

1. Litigate the living SHIT out of the Denver court system...
Get together an injunction/class-action backed by a group of attorneys and scare the living shit out of them!

It's proven to work...

Good luck, Denver!

SOLIDARITY!

3. If it were my party...
I'd be gone half an hour before the police arrived so there would be nobody there to evict.
And then I'd be back half an hour after the police left so there'd be nobody there to evict me.

Just stay mobile. Stay nomadic. Go to where the police aren't, and when the police arrive, go somewhere else where they aren't. Keep them running in circles trying to figure out where you are. Disperse in 40 different directions when they show up and blend in. Become invisible. then re-assemble in the new location. Just like cockroaches. When the lights come on, scatter and disappear. When the light go back out, crawl out of hiding and continue to occupy.

It's not a conventional war where the hill must be held against the enemy onslaught. Let the enemy take the hill. Then when they go home at the end of shift because there's nobody there to confront them, the hill is all yours to take again.

6. Why should they feel the need to act like cockaroaches?
Constantly hiding from the harassment and intimidation of law enforcement?

Do you feel that they are doing something illegal that they should be constantly on the lam to avoid prosecution?

To that, sir/maam, I say: FUCK THAT!

I've been to an Occupation that was forcibly evicted and I am proud and unashamed to defy the constraints of local government on free speech.

There is NO curfew on the redress of grievances of our government.

I will not hide, nor will I feel it necessary to play by 'their' rules any longer.
