We might disagree with their agenda, but they don't act in such an absurd way. There is a big difference in the speech of Romney and Bachmann.
I am talking about things like saying Muslims should not be allowed to vote or serve in the military. Or that going to a Hindu ceremony is an affront to good American Christians.
It's not about Republicans supporting Republican candidates, it's about Republicans supporting any and every Republican candidate and politician.
They act like the kids rioting for Joe Paterno, his abdominal behavior did not matter to them.

If any democratic candidate had the charges against him that Herman Cain does, it would be shouted out loudly and constantly. They are brushing the stuff with Cain under the table. imho opinion, if you are part of the movement against Joe Paterno, you should be against Cain. Sorry about the last part, and I'm not saying Paterno was right or wrong, but I am sick about the blame the victim mentally of the repubs.

14. Republicans are quarreling, not making a political argument.

They are not interested in doing the right thing as much as getting their way. They are cheering and beating drums, not thinking.

A lot of the Republican base are too lazy to do the thinking necessary to trust and support the democratic process. They don't take the time and effort needed to understand and digest what it takes to make a country work. They assume everyone is after their wallet and that they are making a stand against decadence. No thinking necessary. Easy (simpleton, paranoid) answers.

Tax increases for the richest 1%. Let the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy expire. Healthcare for all and take all profit motive out of healthcare. Regulation. Protect all programs that prevent the 99% from starving, freezing to death & being homeless. Equality. WPA type programs to get the economy rolling, employ Americans & improve our crumbling infrastructure. End wars, cut the size of the military/overseas bases and cut the military budget by half. Stop feeding the military & terrorism industrial complexes. Legalize drugs. Penalize companies that outsource. Close corporate tax loopholes. Election finance reform. Eliminate electronic voting without paper backup. Reverse the Citizens United decision....

And about a billion more. Pretty much anything that's sane. As long as they stick to insane policies, they're good to go.

it is an art they have perfected over years and years. It is called "framing" the issues in ways that make them palatable to voters too uninvolved in the process to recognize when they are being lied to. It is why many Republican voters don't even know that they are voting against their own interests, especially financially.
