Sunday morning check-in

It looks like my last post was not my last post. I'm on my wife's laptop using the Cleeland Clinic's WiFi at the moment. First off let me thank the several hundred of you all who were kind enough to wish ny family and I best wishes and prayers. Second thing is I have to ask - does the wind ever stop blowing in Cleveland? Back when I was in the Army there were marching cadences (those things they sing as they march) tht mentioned eskimo women when refering to cold of this sort.

We (my wife and I) got here to the Cleveland Clinic thrusday evening, it was about a 4 hour drive for us and it was plesant enough. Friday the preoperative tests began at 7am and lasted non-stop until 5pm. They dam near drained me of blood and took exotic pictures of parts of me that I didn't even know I had. The result of all that was that I now have two surgeons who will work on removing the tumor. It was my impression that they both seem to know what they are doing. As they are saying in churches all around the country at this very moment, "Let us pray" that I am correct in my assessment. I'm only kidding of course, they are both world-class cutters with uber-credintials

So that's about it from here. Thank you all again for your best wishes - my wife was stunned (in a very good way; when she saw all the encourging responses you all had made it brought a happy tear to her eye. Mine too.

As far as the wind, it is blowing all the way from the Rockies on east, so it's not going to be stopping anytime soon. I live in Missouri, it started blowing yesterday morning and is still going strong today.

I remember an uncle of mine going for treatment there (decades ago).


Just keep fighting. Keep your strength up and EAT! Even if you don't want to. Your job now is to stay strong. Let the doctors do the rest.
