Rigged Games: "Jobs Bill" is Election-Year Theater
Link: http://www.opednews.com/articles/Rigged-Games-Obama-s-Fake-by-Bruce-Dixon-111112-407.html

by Bruce Dixon for OpEdNews

"When it comes to the interest of Wall Street and the one percent, Obama is effective. He gets it done where Republicans cannot."

"Republicans are playing their usual "bad cop" role in the production, opposing the fake "jobs bill," in an effort to make Barack Obama look like the good guy by comparison. They'll vote it down. They'll call it a "jobs killer" and accuse the president, a far more effective capitalist tool at this point than they are, of being a socialist. "

6. What difference does that make?
It's still crazy conspiracy-theory stuff.

OpEd News seems to be a compiler of all the crazy.

10. According to YOU anyway.
I'm not so sure you're an authoritative source for information, or for dictating to others which sites are "crazy" or not. I understand you don't LIKE the info there as it is primarily a progressive site, but I think most folks can make up their own minds as the the quality of a site, or lack thereof, without your biased input.

13. When it's based on shit somebody imagined instead of facts, that's when it's crazy.
Which includes 99% of what's posted on OpEdNews. They're basically Fox--they just make shit up to fit their agenda.

14. So you say anyway.
It's easy to cast aspersions without specific examples to back up your rhetoric.

18. Try doing a Google search against any of their past articles, versus reality.
You will find out that what they post is consistently horseshit. They claimed the deficit deal would destroy Social Security and Medicare; they claimed that the US was going to land troops on the ground in Libya; they claimed that the US was going to keep 10,000 troops in Iraq after the end of the year. All bullshit. The only thing about OpEdNews that's consistent is that they post the worst anti-Democrat smears available, in the hopes of persuading people on the left that it's pointless to vote, and that we should just let the Republicans run everything. Personally, I don't believe that's a coincidence.

5. Republicans aren't actually crazy. It's a conspiracy by the GOP
to make Obama look good and get him re-elected.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

15. Apparently, they REALLY don't trust the guy
Edited on Sun Nov-13-11 08:47 PM by Proud Liberal Dem
Most Republican politicians are able to fake it JUST ENOUGH to win over "the base" during the primaries and Romney has been doing some industrial strength pandering to the right. Either "the base" is getting wise to this (doubt it) or has gone so far off the political spectrum map that you would have to be Atila the Hun (or worse) in order to win the nomination. Either way, the GOP doesn't seem to like its choices (or prospects) much for 2012 IMHO.

7. Almost true
The only problem I have is that this assumes the Pukes have better motives than Obama.
