5. ACTUALLY, last nite in the wee hours of the a.m., CNN reported on Occupy Portland constantly...
In fact, they kept showing the thousands out there. THOUSANDS!!! How does the police arrest thousands, pray tell? And all peaceful. Riding bikes, talking, sitting. A peaceful crowd of thousands.

It was beautiful, and CNN gave them constant coverage! The corporate media can no longer refuse to report on this, because if they don't, WE will report it ourselves!

10. No doubt. This will continue to happen throughout the nation, over and over and over until there's
change in the country. The powers-that-be will not be able to stop it. Not with cops, not with military, not with anything.

3. I hate to tell you, but the police are moving them out right now.
I will be interested to hear where they go from this point. There has been talk about taking over one of the empty buildings in Portland

9. Time to do it again. That's what civil disobedience is all about. They didn't 'lose' anything.
They are winning because the message has spread like wildfire. This is not one of those protests that the media refused to cover. This is coast to coast and never-ending.

16. And what does a protest with no leaders and no demands accomplish?
Yes, yes, I know, I know -- its "end corporate greed" or "end corporate control of DC". BS. Those type of demands are so vague and meaningless they mean nothing. The civil rights movement demanded specific things which is why they won. They did not demand "end racism" as their demand. I don't live in that river in Egypt.

17. You are just dying for OWS to fail, and the opposite seems to be happening.
I think if you're not understanding what civil disobedience is all about, you'd better sit down and get USED TO the fact that this revolution is not going away unless a lot of things change for the better.

15. Just commenting. The OP said they were there and they are not.
You are in denial but that is not surprising.

13. I am. But this is the way it goes with civil disobedience. Those in power want zero change.
I just hope this is being filmed and recorded. We dearly need some lawsuits against the City.
