But since you asked, we are disappointed that the police are there, armed to the teeth, threatening to use chemicals against peaceful protesters. And disappointed that no one in elected office has condemned this war on the people, not even after many innocent people have been seriously injured by what are supposed to be our civilian police Departments, which look more like invading armies.

I hope the police leave and go do their job of protecting the public against crime. I hope someone orders them to go arrest the Wall Street criminals who are the reason why so many people around the world are suffering and have taken to the streets. That would be something to cheer for.

Was really impressed w/the earlier KGW interview w/the woman whose son is a police officer (there in riot gear). She said she supports her son and she also supports the Occupy movement. She said she was there to bear witness to both sides and was glad everyone was showing restraint. (She'd moved from NYC recently and didn't think it would have been possible there.)
