Hearing for Rand Paul volunteer/stomper postponed again

Unfortunately, a promise was made to keep tabs on the legal proceedings of former Rand Paul volunteer Tim Profitt. The saga continued today:

After pleading not guilty to fourth-degree assault in a Lexington court last November 18, Profitt’s hearing was scheduled for December 7, and then rescheduled for today, January 11, 2011, to provide the Fayette County attorney time to “gather further discovery.”

Today, the hearing was postponed yet again, for February 22, by the County attorney so that the alleged victim, 23-year-old MoveOn.org activist Lauren Valle could have more time to provide video of the incident.
