why isn't there an OWS forum?

5. Having the posts in GD

give them a little more "publicity" if you will. It's the largest forum and if you were to put all OWS posts into a separate space, alot of people who don't particularly keep up with it wouldn't get to hear the message. Just my humble opinion. :hi:

3. My 2 cents- better to keep it in the consciousness than to move it to a subforum.

GD has, what, 100 times more visibility than any given subforum.

Again, just my 2 cents.

9. An Occupy Group Forum would be a good place for

discussing ideas and arguments, sharing relevant statistics/information, sharing graphics (for banners and posters), organizing etc (a bit like the Activists Forum).

It's not lost in the stuff on the side or the other pages, it's right there with the basics, it's between UK and Eurozone buttons:

So it can be done, if it fits the DU site's technical model. Or it isn't being done for the reasons suggested above, or not expected to last.

The OWS coverage is just about all I look for now. The GOP clown posse on parade for the 2012 contest is meaningless to me.
