the problem is we allow the 1% to frame the discussion
how?

by allowing them to shift and control the attention of the 99% (primarily through the media they own)

see what is happening? the duologue is now about what the protesters are doing or what the police are doing to the protesters. all that is a slight of hand distraction.

the focus of attention should ALWAYS be what the 1% are doing to the rest of us 24/7/365 -- not what WE are doing to bring attention to them

the 1% are:

waging war against the 99% 24/7/365
they are waging war economically (they set the value of currency, they own the banks and they defraud us with impunity and then come asking us for bailouts)
they are waging war militarily (they own all the military industrial complex, they own every military actions going on in the world even the covert actions we seldom hear about -- they ARE the terrorists we should be waging war against)
they are waging war legally (because they make the laws and own the police and the prison industrial complex) and illegally (because they are a criminal class of tyrants who are above the laws they apply to the rest of us)
they are waging war governmentally (because they control the government, its agencies and agents)
they are waging war environmentally (because they put profit above quality of life for the rest of us and the other species on this planet)
they are waging war against us violently (violence is their primary means but not their only means of controlling us)
they are waging war psychologically (by keeping our attention focused on what we are doing and not on what THEY are doing and getting people to prattle on and on and on about us rather than THEM)
they are waging war against us in just about every other way imaginable -- academically, religiously, philosophically, and so on -- moreover, this is so 'normal' to us, we can't imagine it being any other way! we're so brainwashed we get all excited about what WE are doing, totally missing the fact that whatever we do can't come anywhere near what THEY are doing to us 24/7/365

so don't fucking tell me protesters are getting violent or they have gotten out of hand or are breaking the law
don't fucking tell me we are the problem without telling me what the 1% is doing that is a million times worse, a million times more destructive to society, to business, to the environment, to public health and safety, etc., etc., etc.
don't waste my time telling me about how the #ows is doing 'this' or isn't doing 'that'
relative to the 1% i don't give a shit WHAT #ows is or isn't doing
what matters is what the 1% is doing 24/7/365 to totally subjugate and FUCK the 99% and not only get away with it but get REWARDED for it!

just sayn

6. The Zuccotti protesters should have NEVER complied with police!
Edited on Wed Nov-16-11 03:05 PM by Fire Walk With Me
After all police and their sick masters have done to the #Occupation, why suddenly surrender to those who ONLY wish to destroy it, whose ONLY acts have been to destroy it? They are sickness! We are here to reject them, to show the better way of living!

This will always be the result of complying with those who seek to destroy us!
