My neighborhood is a damn fine place.
(If I use the word "crazy" in this piece, I don't mean that as an actual indication of someone's mental health. I don't mean to indicate that they are in need of medical care. If someone needs mental health care, they should not be made to feel less than whole.)
So when I saw the Larouchies with their table in front of the post office the other day, I just couldn't stop myself.
I kept wanting to walk down there and execute the metaphorical takedown, but my daughter was with me, and I can get a little irate at times when it comes to idiots. Early afternoon arrived, and with that so did my astonishingly gorgeous and fantastically sexy wife. (Maybe she'll read this, who knows?) As soon as I knew that my wife was home and that our 6 year old was in her care, I walked the two blocks to the post office armed with Lyndon Larouche facts.
I understand why the Obama as Hitler posters are so offensive, but I don't really see much point in complaining about the offensive nature of the posters. The Larouchies want you to take offense at their poster, because that's all they have going for them.
