Toronto StarYou’ve seen their forlorn faces staring out from behind glass steamed from too much panting. Alone, with only a seatbelt to chew on, man’s apparent best friend are howling reminders of that feeling of rejection.
Dogs left in cars by their owners are a frequent sight on any street, and now they’re the subject of London-based photographer Martin Usborne’s latest project MUTE: The silence of dogs in cars.
“(The idea for the series) came from a feeling I had as a child that persisted, which is pretty universal: The fear of being alone,” Usborne said in an interview with the Star.
