Tea Partied Republican Congressional members AND state elected Tea Partied Republican officials have gotten their wish. The Supreme Court announced that it will hear testimony regarding the constitutionality of President Obama’s Health Care Reform legislation affecting 15 MILLION UNINSURED AMERICANS since lower court decisions on the issue have been split. The Supreme Court, also, announced that it will rule on the issue next year – just in time for the 2012 elections. Coincidence?


The very same evening of the Supreme Court’s announcement, CONSERVATIVE Justice Clarence Thomas and Justice Anthony Scalia were the KEYNOTE SPEAKERS at a fundraising dinner sponsored by The Federalist Society (a Right Wing legal group that has made no bones about being against Health Care Reform). During the event, the Justices just happened to be sitting within close proximity ON EITHER SIDE of Paul Clement, a key attorney who will be testifying AGAINST Health Care Reform legislation before the Court. Coincidence?


Judge Thomas’ wife is a major lobbyist for conservative groups including the Tea Party and she has, publicly, stated that her “focus is to stop the Obama agenda”. Coincidence?


In all fairness, don’t you think Justices Thomas and Scalia should recluse themselves from making any decisions regarding Health Care Reform?
