Troubling... on large media outlets

So the night before last media was not allowed to cover a story. There is more, the powers that be went so far as to close airspace, and to pen reporters and arrest them.

Now you'd think that now that their FIRST AMENDMENT rights have been so egregiously violated... MSM would be going bunkers and actually MAKING THIS A STORY. They sort of started early in the morning yesterday... but I guess emaisl and memos were issued... and now we are back to the same distraction and 24 hours pablum.

If anybody wanted more evidence as to WHO the powers that be employ and how much democracy is at risk... I guess you did not need more evidence.

The media should be the first ones to be furious that they were denied their constitutional right of freedom of press.

But now they are entertainment media and the "reporters" are more interested in the next paycheck and their ratings than they are in covering real news. Of course, their corporate owners actively do not want this story covered, or if it is, they want it slanted their way.

They're protecting corporate/oligarch interests because those entities/people are the corporate media's clients, the American People are just customers or consumers to be sold a product, candidate or down the river.

18. The control of the media when these coordinated and brutal

raids began, was first noticed airc, on Oct 25 in Oakland. We had been watching the livestream of one of the major news orgs who had a helicopter covering the events. But right before the attack by the cops, they went off the air. We then went to CBS and found that they too, had gone off the air.

Since then, it was noticed that the media would stop filming, as at Berkeley eg, when the police would announce they are going to start 'arresting' people.

So, to find out that this happened again, is simply confirmation of what people already had begun to notice. And yes, it is very disturbing.

In NYC they arrested seven reporters. Bloomberg, the 1% Mayor, claims it was 'for their own protection'. I hope the ACLU will take up this issue of silencing the press, because there is no more serious violation of the 1st Amendment than to start arresting reporters.
