My 17 year old sister-in-law came out of her bedroom and talked about it, and said that she had used their form to email our representatives.

I did too. She said she used the provided template. I may have added a bit to mine, and I may have said something like "If you want Occupy to grow to the point that you will have to massacre people to try to put it down, then vote for this bill."

A lot of other popular sites publicized it as well. I'm hoping that caused a giant swell of emails and phone calls, and that with the pressure of Occupy added on, the corporate whores finally started to see some sense.

Though a DDoS attack kept them offline for much of the time they had intended to promote awareness of that bill.

Strangely enough, that awareness day has passed, and 4chan is back online, no problems.
